Faber Entrepreneurship Program presents its results to the Técnico community on September 12th, at 6 p.m.

The event marks the end of the first edition of the program launched at the end of 2022. The program involved 15 Técnico masters and doctoral students who attended, until May 2023, 12 training sessions. They had sessions on entrepreneurship and venture capital through contact with the Faber team and a wide range of technology-based startups. The program involved more than 23 companies and institutions, represented by their top management, who shared their experiences with Técnico students. The second phase of the programme, starting in July 2023, consists of an optional summer internship at a startup from Faber’s portfolio.

The Program is aimed at Técnico masters and doctoral students who wish to learn how to transform innovative ideas into new businesses in the technological areas through contact with entrepreneurs and investors, and is also open to students with an interest in the subject even without having an innovative idea already conceived.
Access to the program is free and does not require students to have a previous idea to develop related to entrepreneurship.
Faber is an early-stage venture capital fund focused on artificial intelligence, data science, web3 and climate and ocean technology. It has around 40 technology-based start-ups in its investment portfolio.
