The exhibition “Movimento Estudantil no Técnico, 1967-1974” will be inaugurated on November 8, at 5 p.m.

The student movement at Técnico was one of the most important movements of student mobilization by the end of the dictatorship. AEIST and students from other schools organised strikes and demonstrations to the benefit of the population.

This exhibition aims to preserve and to disseminate the history of the student movement.

As a way to mark this important moment, AEIST joined Instituto Superior Técnico and Ephemera to carry out this project, which had the collaboration of former leaders, students and professors. The exhibition “Movimento Estudantil no Técnico, 1967-1974” will mark the end of the project and will be open from 8th November 2018 to 18th January 2019, in the main building’s hall.
