Is it possible to harness energy from a star?
How can energy from the stars help us produce clean energy? What other clean energy sources can we use besides renewables? What is nuclear fusion? On Saturday, 26th June, at 11:00, Bruno Gonçalves, researcher and President of the Institute for Plasmas and Nuclear Fusion (IPFN), will go live on Técnico Facebook to answer these questions.
Please send us your questions ahead of time to explicame@tecnico.ulisboa.pt or join us live on Facebook.
ABOUT THE TALKS
“Explain it like I’m 5 – talks at Técnico for children and other curious people of all ages” is designed for young people, opening a door to get to know Técnico research and to ask our scientists a question- even at a distance. Older people can come as well, if the children let them.
26th June 2021, 11:00-12:00
