Explain it like I’m 5 – Rui Prada

Live & Online

How to make computer games? - Saturday 12th November, 11:00 (at Técnico - Taguspark or via Facebook).

How to make video games?
How do we go from an idea of challenge and characters to a body and action on a computer screen? What people do we have to partner up with in order to have art and science in a video game? Did you know that there are scientists and students making video games at Técnico? And that we have so much to learn from games, besides having fun?

On Saturday, 12th November 2022, at 11:00, Rui Prada, researcher at Instituto de Engenharia de Sistemas e Computadores, Investigação e Desenvolvimento em Lisboa (INESC-ID) and Técnico professor will answer these questions.

*This event is part of the Open Day at Técnico – Taguspark Campus.

About the talks
Explain it like I’m 5 – talks at Técnico for children and other curious people of all ages” is designed for young people, opening a door to get to know Técnico research and to ask our scientists a question- even at a distance. Older people can come as well, if the children let them. The talks take place on Saturdays live on Facebook and can be watched later.
