The inauguration of the exhibition “Desenho técnico no Técnico 1911-2018” will take place on June 19, at 6 p.m., in the Civil Engineering museum.

The exhibition will be open until December 21 and will include a set of lectures on technical drawings. Projects developed by students and student groups will be presented, highlighting the importance of technical drawing to the design of the exhibited objects.

The artists-in-residence program of sculptor Helena Elias (FBAUL) on the topic “O que há numa linha?” (What’s in a line?) will be part of this exhibition, rethinking and recreating new objects based on models and technical drawing of Civil Engineering museum collections. Helena Elias will present workshops that will challenge the audience to start finding answers.
