The next edition of “ISTO É Técnico – Virtual events for Técnico candidates” will take place from 11th to 13th April, 10 a.m. -7.30 p.m.
What are the aims of “ISTO É Técnico”?
- To present Técnico courses, projects and support services;
- To provide the opportunity to contact with Técnico students, professors and alumni;
- To contribute to a more informed and secure choice when choosing a higher education institution.
Programme 2022
Candidates will have the opportunity to learn more about Técnico and participate in presentation sessions of 1st cycle courses and talks with alumni. These sessions will take place online and require registration.
PRESENTATION OF UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMMES:
The professors will present the different courses, the student groups will provide information about the extracurricular activities, and the Técnico ambassadors will share their personal experiences. The 18 presentations will be grouped into 6 sessions.
TALKS:
Técnico alumni, researchers and professors will share their vision of a possible professional future:
− “O Técnico para Além dos Anfiteatros.” – 11th April, at 6 p.m.
− “O Técnico para Além da Aprendizagem.”, 12th April, at 6 p.m.
Two invited speakers will share their academic path and how it has influenced their careers.
− “O Técnico para Além do Diploma.”, 13th April, at 6 p.m.
Roundtable: four alumni with different professional paths will share their experiences.
The sessions are open to the Técnico community.
