The winners of the 6th edition of the Maria de Lourdes Pintasilgo Award were the alumnae Ângela Nunes, in the “Role Model” category, and Maria Catarina Botelho and Hemaxi Narotamo, in the “Young Alumna” category.
Técnico created this award in 2016 to promote gender equality and to recognise the crucial role of women in engineering areas. The award is also a way of honouring Maria de Lourdes Pintasilgo’s outstanding contribution as engineer, alumna and national leader with a decisive role and impact on Portuguese society.
The Award Ceremony will take place on 18th November, at 14:30, at Técnico – Congress Centre.
