«The Instituto Superior Técnico, Universidade de Lisboa, invites the entire academic community and its partners to attend the Merit Awards Ceremony, a moment dedicated to recognising and celebrating the talent, dedication, and academic journey of its students.

The ceremony will take place on 2 July 2026 at 4.30 p.m., in the Great Hall of Alameda Campus, bringing together students, faculty, and partner organisations in an atmosphere of celebration and exchange.

Throughout the session, attendees will be able to follow a series of moments highlighting the value of academic merit and the connection between academia and the business ecosystem. The programme includes a welcome session by Instituto Superior Técnico, a brief historical reflection, a roundtable discussion titled “Valuing Merit, Shaping the Future: The Impact of the Business Ecosystem on Academia”, as well as a “Get to Know” segment featuring short company interventions and the presentation of awards to distinguished students.

The ceremony will conclude with a networking moment, fostering the exchange of experiences and strengthening connections among participants.»
