The interdisciplinary thematic network REDEsaúde at ULisboa is pleased to announce the workshop “Gene Therapy – The Present and the Future”, on 25th November, in the Great Hall of the ULisboa Rectorate building and Online.
Recent advances in the research and development of gene therapies have the potential to substantially alter the delivery of care in various therapeutic areas, impacting on access to services, the administration of clinical services, the patient journey and the production of these technologies. However, multiple challenges are faced by key actors regarding the adoption and use, regulation, financing and commercialisation of these technologies in health systems.
This workshop promotes a reflection on current and future perspectives associated with the research and adoption of gene therapies.
