«The Mining Students’ Organisation at Instituto Superior Técnico (NUMIST) organises the Space Resources Academy (SRA), a new academic event about space resources, organised in partnership with students from Instituto Superior Técnico, Universidade de Lisboa.
This event aims to promote teaching and introduce the challenges of extracting spatial mineral resources to the student body.
The Space Resources Academy will take place from 9 to 11 February, at Técnico – Alameda Campus, in the Civil Engineering Building (rooms V0.02 and V0.03).
The event is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. and finish between 5.30 p.m. and 6 p.m.
The programme includes:
- Seminars with researchers and industry professionals (national and international);
- Discussion panels and thematic sessions;
- Practical activities and networking moments related to the exploration of space resources as well as their advantages for terrestrial applications.»
