The Iberian Medical Orchestra will give a solidarity concert in support of the Portuguese Association Against Leukaemia, on 11 September, at 5 p.m., in Aula Magna. This concert is part of the event “Música na Universidade de Lisboa”.
The Iberian Medical Orchestra brings together doctors and medical students, from Portugal and Spain, in its debut concert in Lisbon to perform iconic classical and Iberian music works, conducted by Sebastião Castanheira Martins.
In this concert, with the support of ULisboa, the Iberian Medical Orchestra join together to promote a fairer and more equitable society through music and medicine, universal access to healthcare, better care for all patients and support for the most vulnerable and disadvantaged populations.
All ticket proceeds will be given to the Portuguese Association Against Leukaemia.
