The Técnico Library (BIST) is pleased to announce the LaTeX Workshop, allowing participants a first contact with LaTeX through practical examples that will give them the basis for creating new documents, such as reports or theses.

The session will take place on April 4, 2024 (Thursday), from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. (via Zoom) and will be given by Professor André Calado Marta (Department of Mechanical Engineering at Instituto Superior Técnico), who has published several articles and supervised a significant number of PhD theses and Master’s Dissertations, all published in LaTeX. To this end, the Técnico professor has created a model document for his students, which has progressively been widely adopted by the Técnico community.

Although this webinar is primarily aimed at researchers and students, participation is open to anyone interested.
