The welcome session of the 2021 edition of Tech4Law – Technology for Lawyers Bootcamp, will take place on 20th September, at 9.30 a.m., in room Q01. The session will be attended by professor Rodrigo Miragaia Rodrigues, President of IST Scientific Council, and professor Gonçalo Matias, Dean of the Católica Global School of Law.

The Technology for Lawyers Bootcamp takes place in-person, from 20th to 24th September. This one-week bootcamp is the result of a collaboration between Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) and Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP), and aims at students who are starting the academic program LL.M. Law in a Digital Economy (LL.M. LDE), at UCP.
The programme will cover:
• Internet-of-Things (Prof. António Grilo)
• Artificial Intelligence (Prof. Arlindo Oliveira)
• Blockchain (Prof. Miguel Pupo Correia)
• Cloud Computing (Prof. Luis Guerra e Silva).
Each team of students is challenged to develop a technology-based business model that will be presented to a jury panel on Friday, 24th September, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
