«PRISMAP Public Event “Challenges in nuclear medicine” will be held on 28th November 2023, in the Faculty of Medicine (Aula Magna – Santa Maria Hospital) of Universidade de Lisboa. It is an in-person event organised under the framework of the European project PRISMAP.

PRISMAP – The European medical isotope programme: Production of high-purity isotopes by mass separation federates a consortium of the key European intense neutron sources, isotope mass separation facilities and high-power accelerators and cyclotrons, with leading biomedical research institutes and hospitals active in the translation of the emerging radionuclides into medical diagnosis and treatment.

The event will bring together Portuguese and international physicians and researchers who will present their recent findings and discuss challenges in the production of medical radionuclides, radiopharmaceutical development and nuclear medicine applications.

Attendance is free. Registration is required until 23rd November.»
