The enrolment period for curricular units for the 2026/2027 academic year at Instituto Superior Técnico, Universidade de Lisboa, for students already registered in previous academic years, runs from 24 August to 4 September. This annual enrolment is mandatory. This is followed by the shift booking period from 31 August to 4 September, with a view to drawing up the timetable.
In the 1st semester, enrolment in curricular units (1st and 2nd semester) and class/shift booking are automatic for students admitted to Técnico for the 1st time, through the National Call for Public Higher Education (CNAES). In the 2nd semester, this procedure must be done by students. The timetable can be viewed on the Fénix platform.
Before choosing the subjects (curricular units) for both semesters, each student must select the tuition fee regime:
- full-time (full fee with enrolment up to 72 ECTS/year);
- part-time (tuition fee based on the number of ECTS/year).
During the 1st year, it is not possible to choose a part-time tuition fee regime.
Applications for isolated Curricular Units take place from 24 to 28 August.
