The 5th Meeting of Student Groups Forum at Técnico took place on September 20 and was attended by professor Luís Caldas de Oliveira, vice-president for Entrepreneurship and Corporate Relations, professor Raquel Aires-Barros, president of Pedagogic Council, Nuno Guerreiro, Student vice-president of Pedagogic Council and Carla Patrocínio, coordinator of Technology Transfer Office at Técnico (TT@IST).

Professor Luís Caldas de Oliveira presented the programme Career Discovery @ Técnico, which is designed to help students entering the labour market. The mission of these groups is also to help students both in academic and professional lives, and to disseminate the school’s activities.

“I can’t imagine Técnico without student groups. These groups are an important part of a student’s life”, said Nuno Guerreiro, who is also the president of Fórum Mecânica.
