Increasing cooperation among Técnico’ s student groups highlighted during the 8th annual meeting

More than 40 representatives of Técnico’ s student groups attended the annual meeting in order to evaluate the activities carried out and to create an action plan.

The Technology Transfer Office at Técnico organised the 8th meeting of Técnico’ s student groups this Monday, April 9. The meeting was attended by several representatives of Técnico’s student groups, professor Luís Caldas de Oliveira (Vice-president of Técnico for Entrepreneurship and Corporate Relations), Nuno Guerreiro (Student vice-president of Pedagogic Council), Carla Patrocínio (Coordinator of Technology Transfer Office at Técnico – TT@Técnico) and Samuel Franco (representative of Student Support Unit – NAPE).

According to professor Luís Caldas de Oliveira, these meetings are important “to evaluate the different activities carried out and to understand how we can bring value to each other”. The Vice-president of Técnico for Entrepreneurship and Corporate Relations also praised the commitment and the dynamism of student groups.

Nuno Guerreiro highlighted the role of student groups once “these activities help students to improve their soft skills”.

The activities planned by TT@Técnico, CA2ECTécnico and TecInnov Santander Universities were some of the topics addressed by Carla Patrocínio during her speech. The coordinator of TT@Técnico said several times that “our goal is to help you promote your activities in the best way we can” and, in this sense, “some details that need to be improved were discussed”.
