The opening ceremony of the 6th edition of BEST Inside View took place last Thursday. This is a job shadowing and mentoring event, organised by BEST Lisboa, in which university students have the opportunity to accompany engineers from their study area on a working day.

This initiative aims at “strengthening the link between students and the labour market”. “This is a way for companies to disseminate their activities and for professionals to show their personal perspective; this is also an opportunity for students to contact with someone who has been in the same situation.”

According to professor Luís Caldas de Oliveira, vice-president of Técnico for Entrepreneurship and Corporate Relations, “Técnico is doing a great effort to strengthen the link between students and companies”. “These six editions have been a success. Congratulations to BEST.”

Registrations for BEST Inside View 2017 are open until January 29. The results will be released by the end of January. Inside Days will take place from 6th February to 30th April.
