Following the success of previous editions, IT – Instituto de Telecomunicações welcomes once again secondary school students within the programme Ciência Viva no Laboratório, dedicated to Introduction to Telecommunications (INTELE).

The activities took place at Técnico (Alameda) and in Covilhã: soldering for the first time electronic components was one of the favourite activities, but the participants also had the opportunity to discover the myths about the Internet and learn more about energy.

Francisco, 16 year-old student, explains that he “was surprised for the clarity with which tutors explained the principles that guide telecommunications”, noting the importance of the theoretical sessions in which students also participated. Akruti, who also attended the traineeship, says that the experience is “a strong incentive to study more, so that in the future” he can get into Técnico.
