JeniAL, a competition organised by FEP Junior Consulting, in partnership with JADE Portugal, elected JUNITEC the “Most Promising Junior Enterprise”, “Most Innovative Junior Enterprise” and “Project of the Year”. “These awards are a recognition of our work, but also a great responsibility that we take as a challenge and an incentive”, says Gil Coelho, president of JUNITEC.
JUNITEC has grown continuously and has undertaken innovative projects, which allowed the Junior Enterprise (JE) at Técnico to win the “Most Promising JE” and the “Most Innovative JE”. The “Project of the Year” is more specific and aims to “recognise the team’s commitment and effort to develop the project Brain Auto Manager in partnership with CEiiA”, says Gil Coelho.
The JE are formed and managed exclusively by university students and are responsible for a cooperation protocol between the business and the academic world. Since its creation, in 1990, JUNITEC has gaining prestige and assumes itself as a business incubator.
JeniAL brought together more than 200 junior entrepreneurs from all over the country, who shared their experiences with the students.
