Since 2016, Instituto Superior Técnico (Técnico) promotes the Maria de Lourdes Pintasilgo Award aiming to recognise and reward annually two women, graduated at Técnico.
Técnico promotes in 2017 the 2nd edition of Maria de Lourdes Pintasilgo Award.
The award is intended to:
• i) a former student who has completed her studies at IST for over 15 years, by 31st December 2016, and who has made outstanding contributions throughout her professional career;
• ii) a recently graduated from IST, under 27 years by 31st December 2016, whose Master’s thesis has been distinguished for its scientific quality and whose academic performance at IST has been remarkable.
Nominations for the former student i) may be submitted by any member of Técnico community, including alumni, until November 10, at 12 p.m. The nomination must be accompanied by a curriculum vitae of a maximum of one page (A4 paper format) and should be sent to premioMLP@tecnico.ulisboa.pt.
Applications for the Award to the recent graduate will take place on 24th November 2017, at 12 p.m. The winner will receive a €5000 award, sponsored by Baía do Tejo and Técnico.
The winners of these 2nd edition and the award ceremony will be announced to the public in due course.
