Master’s Programmes at Técnico 2025/2026: applications (1st Call) are open

The 1st call of applications will take place from 3 to 21 march 2025.

Applications for master’s programmes (and integrated master’s programme) at Instituto Superior Técnico, for the 2025/26 academic year, will open from 3 until 21 March (1st Call). These applications are also aimed at students who are completing their undergraduate programme and wish to continue their 2nd cycle studies at Técnico.

Eligible applicants are holders of an undergraduate programme (1st cycle of studies) or a legal equivalent from any school (including a foreign degree, provided it is recognised by the Scientific Council of Técnico); students finishing their undergraduate programme, provided they have completed at least 138 ECTS by the time of application; holders of a scientific or professional curriculum that attests their ability to complete the master’s programme for which they are applying.

The 1st Call will take place from 3 to 21 March 2025 (until 5 p.m.) on the online application platform. All vacancies will be open in this Call.

The 2nd Call will take place from 16 June to 11 July (until 5 p.m.) and will include the vacancies left over from the 1st Call.

Vacancy reservation:

As soon as the results are known, students who have been placed must pre-register to reserve their allocated place, by paying a fee of €100 which will be deducted from the tuition fee for the course they have been placed on. In September, at the start of the academic year, registration must be confirmed.

On 12 March, from 3 p.m. to 7.30 p.m., Técnico will open its doors to all interested parties for the Técnico Master’s Day, whose registration is already open. At this event, attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about applications, international mobility programmes, career development initiatives and extracurricular activities, according to the programme.

Técnico will attend the Unlimited Future education fairs (Lisbon – 27 February; Braga – 6 March; Faro – 13 March; Setúbal – 18 March and Leiria – 20 March), the Qualifica in Porto (12 to 15 March) and Futurália in Lisbon (26 to 29 March), to showcase its master’s programmes and answer questions from interested parties.
