From October 19 Técnico will offer online training to anyone, anywhere in the world – MOOC (Massive Open Online Courses).
These courses are designed to offer the best online training, with relevant and current content, under the motto learning when and where you want, without compromising a certified high-quality training. The courses MOOC Técnico are designed by professors and researchers at Instituto Superior Técnico, as well as by partner entities, such as national and international higher education institutions. The courses are focused on different topics of basic sciences, engineering and technology.
MOOC courses at Técnico are preferably taught in Portuguese. These courses are short (4-5 weeks), mostly based on short and medium videos using illustration and animation techniques.
The courses MOOC Técnico are available in different training levels: introduction to basic sciences, engineering and technology; topics corresponding to curricular units of 1st and 2nd cycles of higher education; courses on cross-cutting themes of scientific and technological areas of interest to the general public.
