Another edition of Lab2Market @ Técnico took place last Thursday, 30th January, at IST Alameda campus. The session brought together former participants, a team from i-Deals and professor Luís Caldas de Oliveira, Head of iStartLab- Técnico Innovation Laboratory.

Bruno Gonçalves and Marta Fajardo, both Técnico researchers and participants in previous editions, highlighted the value that Lab2Market added to their projects. “While we were participating in this programme, we were getting a more general view of its applications. It also helped us to change the way we see things and our position in the market. It was a very pleasant experience”, highlighted Bruno Gonçalves. The real awareness of market value that arises from participating in this programme was also pointed out by Marta Fajardo, whose project obtained a 3.88 million funding through Horizon 2020.

According to Alberto Pavon and Rocio Pacios Blein, from i-Deals, and professor Luís Caldas de Oliveira “the participants are the experts; Técnico and I-deals are the facilitators”. “Our goal is to guide you in the right direction and ask the right questions,” said professor Luís Caldas de Oliveira.

Applications for Lab2Market @ Técnico 2020 will run until 16th February.
