This Wednesday, July 26, the municipality of Loures publicly honoured several personalities, who contributed to the development of Loures, including the president of Instituto Superior Técnico, professor Arlindo Oliveira.

“A set of initiatives and fruitful projects, together with a full collaboration for the local development” were some of the reasons why professor Arlindo Oliveira was awarded the Medal of Merity. “A recognition of the quality of his work, which was already distinguished several times, from his student days until the present day”.

“This award recognises Técnico’s collaboration with Loures City Hall, which has allowed to carry out a set of joint initiatives that are relevant to Loures municipality”, pointed out professor Arlindo Oliveira, who was visibly pleased with the award.
