“This unexpected award is dedicated to all colleagues who work in university museums, under particularly difficult conditions”, said the Técnico professor, who also stressed the importance of museum activities for academic training and for scientific, pedagogical and cultural dissemination, but also the importance of connecting communities with museums.
Professor Manuel Francisco shared that Técnico and DECivil have been promoting and implementing measures to encourage museum activities, and highlighted the importance of this award for Ulisboa, hoping that it can stimulate the museum activities in various educational institutions.
The president of APOM, João Neto, highlighted the performance of the award-winning personalities, who, despite the pandemic, continued to develop their work.
