Project “Ubike Portugal – Operação Técnico”

The first 20 U-Bikes were assigned this Monday and will be available during one semester.

The Project “Ubike Portugal – Operação Técnico” aims to promote the adoption of a more sustainable mobility behaviour on and around Técnico campuses.

This project will provide classic and electric bicycles to the academic community, namely students, during one semester, in order to encourage a more sustainable urban transportation.

The bicycles will be assigned at the beginning of each semester. This Monday, December 17th, 20 bicycles were assigned to students, professors, scholars and staff.

If you want to know more about this project and how to request a bicycle, please visit the “Project “Ubike Portugal – Operação Técnico” facebook page.

This project is financially supported by Portugal 2020 under the Operational Programme for Sustainability and Efficient Use of Resources (PO SEUR).
