Two startups of IST SPIN-OFF community feature in the Wired UK magazine supplement dedicated to Europe's 100 most promising startups.

Two startups with a link to Técnico feature in the prestigious tech magazine Wired Uk, in “The Hottest Startup Cities” ranking. This is the second consecutive time that Lisbon is part of the list and the two Técnico spin-offs – Unbabel and Codacy – are highlighted.

Codacy has created a solution that allows you to analyse and correct millions of lines of code (programming) per week and has grown exponentially throughout its four years of existence. Last month the company closed a 4.30 million euros series-A investment round.

Unbabel is another example of success. Founded in 2013, the startup created by a Técnico alumni combines machine learning and crowdsourcing to translate content online. Unbabel was the first Portuguese startup accepted into the YCombinator, in Silicon Valley.

Also Attentive, Zaask, Sword Health, Misk, Chic by Choice, Landing.jobs and Mellow feature in the list of Portuguese highlighted startups. This is the seventh time that Wired UK compiles a list of the most promising startups in Europe.
