On 30 June, the Instituto Superior Técnico, Universidade de Lisboa, and Accenture renewed their cooperation protocol, marking the beginning of the partnership’s third three-year term between the two organisations. The protocol was signed by Rogério Colaço, president of Técnico, and Manuela Vaz, president of Accenture Portugal, at the Alameda Campus.
Rogério Colaço expressed gratitude for a “long-standing” partnership. Recalling the founding of Técnico by Manuel Brito Camacho, who was the Minister of Public Works in the Provisional Government, the president emphasised the school’s mission and the transformative role of such agreements. “Técnico’s core principle has always been to be open to society; our partner network helps us stay aligned with our mission”.
Manuela Vaz returned the compliment, highlighting Técnico’s strong reputation. “It’s an excellent school with an outstanding reputation in the country”, she remarked. “This agreement is truly important for us”, she added. The company’s president also expressed her satisfaction at receiving applications from Técnico students and highlighted the quality of the faculty. “The students are exceptional—without a doubt, among the best in the country”.
Accenture is a global leader in professional services, operating in management consulting, information technology, and outsourcing. The company has been part of the Técnico Partner Network since 2019.
