Inspired by the motto of Técnico, A School for the World, and with the aim of consolidating and increasing the number of international partnerships of reference, Instituto Superior Técnico will once again be present at the largest education fair in the USA, NAFSA: Association of International Educators. This year the event will take place between 30 May and 2 June, in Washington, DC, and will have as its main theme the debate on paths towards an inclusive future in international education. The global international education community comes together to discuss and share the latest innovations, new strategies and best practices to establish and build tailor-made institutional partnerships.
Portugal will participate through a joint organization between the Fulbright Commission Portugal, the Luso-American Foundation and the Eramus+ National Agency. Follow the Sun, Study and Research in Portugal is the topic chosen for the stand that will be attended by representatives of about 20 Portuguese Higher Education institutions.
Técnico, represented by the International Affairs Area, registers its fifth participation in this event, which represents an opportunity to review partners, renegotiate partnerships and initiate contacts with future objectives. Increasing the offer of Double Degrees and Joint Degrees, promoting partnerships with renowned institutions, creating competitive opportunities and presenting ourselves at internationally referenced events is part of our international strategy and characterises us as A School for the World. We will be at the Portugal Pavillion, Booth #1401.
