The president of Técnico addressed his first words to 1st year students: “I want to congratulate you very warmly on this success. This is certainly the result of your hard work during secondary school and I hope that you will have a successful and fun experience at Técnico”.

“We are proud of being one of the best schools in Europe for our academic rigour and for the outstanding skills we provide to our students and graduates”, said professor Arlindo Oliveira, who also stressed the importance of extracurricular activities “you will have the opportunity to develop different and interesting activities at Técnico, which will contribute to reinforce your skills”.

The rigour and effort that students will have to face in the next months was also highlighted by the president of Técnico. “This school will provide you with excellent technical skills that will be useful to your professional life. You will also have the opportunity to meet inspiring professors and colleagues”. Professor Arlindo Oliveira ended his speech saying “Técnico attracts the best national and international students”.
