Técnico book fair will be open from 17th to 21st April, and will offer a large variety of books on Science, Philosophy, Geography, Astronomy, Architecture, as well as novels and poetry, at affordable prices.

Técnico’s Student Union – AESIT organises this event for the first time, so that “these books can be available to all students”, explains Francisco Costa, from the organising team. But this event goes beyond that “because it also intends to help small bookstores and booksellers that have more difficulty to reach young people”, he added.

The event has been very much welcomed by the public and hundreds of students visited the fair during the first day. “We were not expecting so many visitors on the first day. We are incredibly surprised and we are expecting a great week.”, said Francisco Costa.
