This Wednesday, the Career Discovery@Técnico programme launched Técnico business card. This initiative, without precedent in Portugal, is an important moment in a student’s life: the transition into the labour market.
Professor Luís Castro, Vice-president of Técnico for Administrative and Financial Management, attended the session and highlighted “Técnico’s effort to support students in this phase of transition from University into the labour market”. “The business card is a very important tool and is part of your professional image”, he added.
Santander Totta is Técnico’s partner in this initiative, and according to Marcos Ribeiro, Head of Santander Universidades at Santander Totta, “both Técnico and Santander totta have been doing a great effort to support students and help them entering into the labour market”. The result of this effort is this business card “that will be the link between you and your potential employer”, explained Marcos Ribeiro.
All MSc final year students are eligible to apply for a Técnico Business Card, as long as they keep Técnico email address active. Another session is scheduled for next week. What are you waiting for?
