The Técnico Career Center platform was presented this Thursday, November 18, during the “Career Discovery Session”. This new platform aims to help Técnico students prepare for the job market.
The session was led by Carla Patrocínio, coordinator of the Technology Transfer Office (TT@Técnico), and brought together dozens of Técnico students.
“It is important that you start planning your career as soon as possible, and start developing essential skills”, said the coordinator of TT@Técnico, who also highlighted the skills that employers value most. Carla Patrocínio pointed out some skills that need to be improved and some problems that exist in the recruitment process.
The coordinator of TT@Técnico presented the various initiatives carried out throughout the year that aim to provide useful information about the job market, and to help students define and align their career goals, thus acquiring essential skills that will allow them to become more experienced candidates and more competent professionals.
The Técnico Career Center will be presented to Técnico students at Taguspark campus, on December 2, during a Career Discovery Session (hybrid format).
