AEIST organised another edition of Técnico culture week that included exhibitions, workshops and lectures. “We want that our students have a greater proximity to arts and culture. And, for that purpose, we organised exhibitions, lectures and workshops”, said Carolina Veríssimo, member of the organisation team.

A photo and painting exhibition showing the works by Técnico artists will be open from 22nd to 24th April, in the main building’s hall. “Many people have visited the exhibition and we have had a very positive feedback from people”, says Carolina Veríssimo.

“Most of visitors were surprised because they didn’t know that Técnico had so many artists. This exhibition helped us to demystify the idea that Técnico students are only interested in Engineering and Science”. “Besides promoting the contact between students and culture we are giving them the opportunity to show their work”, adds Carolina Veríssimo.

The participants had the opportunity to get tickets to visit several Lisbon museums and to participate in a “fun and demanding” quiz, as foreseen by Carolina Veríssimo.
