The Social Services Canteen of Universidade de Lisboa, located next to the Técnico Students’ Union building, reopened on January 4 after undergoing work to improve and expand the facilities, and to prepare the space to include study areas for students.

The space will initially be open from 11.30 a.m. to 8.30 p.m., functioning as a study room outside meal times. At a later stage, it will be open from 8.30 a.m. to 8.30 p.m.

The Canteen has more than 500 seats and replaces the one that was temporarily operating in the mathematics building.
