A presentation session of McKinsey Company took place this Wednesday, October 16th, at Técnico. Three Técnico alumnus who work at the global management consulting firm shared their experience with the students: work dynamics and perspectives on career development.

António Mósca, Mechanical Engineering alumnus and engagement manager at McKinsey, hosted the session and made a brief presentation of McKinsey. According to the Técnico alumnus, what makes McKinsey different from other consulting firms is “the people, the knowledge, the global presence and the constant pursuit of innovation”. António Mósca also highlighted the global presence of McKinsey, the variety of projects carried out and the challenges ahead.

“McKinsey allows us to constantly learn. We realise that our recommendations are important and have impact”, said António Mósca. “Técnico is a school of reference. Técnico students have strong problem solving skills and at the same time you are very versatile”, said the engagement manager. “We truly believe in Técnico teaching model and, above all, we believe in skillful engineers”, he stressed.

In the afternoon, McKinsey Company organised another presentation session at Técnico – Taguspark campus.
