The Junior Enterprises at Instituto Superior Técnico (JUNITEC) organised a new edition of the Unicorn Day. The event took place on June 20, at Lispolis, and aims to challenge and launch tech startups that tackle real-world problems.
The JUNITEC’s event aimed to challenge investors and incubators, and to encourage university students who aim to develop promising and innovative projects.
The event started at 5 p.m. and included a roundtable, focused on entrepreneurship at universities, which brought together several company representatives: Olisipo & Bitalk, Wad Lab, Talent Protocol and Indico Capital Partners.
Six teams pitched their projects – Clynx and Trash4Goods (projects developed by Técnico alumni), Outgoing, mold.ai, Nashe and Hash Game Store (created by JUNITEC students).
The event ended with a vibrant and stimulating sunset networking.
