JUNITEC – The Junior Enterprises at Instituto Superior Técnico aims to make an impact on society, academia and business through its projects, and now JUNITEC will do that one more time, through its new scholarship program that will have a positive impact on the life of a Técnico student. The protocol was signed this Thursday, November 25.
The president of Técnico, professor Rogério Colaço, praised JUNITEC for the initiative and highlighted the importance of these scholarships for students.
Maria João Carvalho, president of JUNITEC, shared “over the last few years, we have been investing in social responsibility”. According to Maria João Carvalho, the idea of creating this scholarship “came about as something logical, aiming to provide financial aid to a Técnico student”.
The scholarship is aimed at Técnico students (Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree) and “will support those who need it, regardless of the course and year”.
This scholarship program aims to reward the academic merit of students with demonstrated financial need, through an annual scholarship up to €1000. Applications for the 2021/2022 academic year are open until 6th December.
