TFIST won 3 awards at the festival “XXIII Trovas”, organised by Gatuna – Tuna Feminina Universitária do Minho. The festival was held last weekend in Braga and TFIST won the awards for the best group, best instrumental and best tambourine.

TunaF – Tuna Feminina do Orfeão Universitário do Porto; TFB – Tuna Feminina de Biomédicas (Porto); and Tuna Maria – Tuna Feminina da Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade Nova de Lisboa also participated in this event.

Although TFIST members are focused in the XIII Expedição – Festival de Tunas Femininas do Instituto Superior Técnico, to be held in November 3, they made a point to attend “XXIII Trovas”.
