International Master Programmes in Mining Engineering: Minerals for Climate Action

In a lower-carbon future there will be a substantial increase in demand for several key minerals and metals to manufacture cleaner energy technologies.

Climate-Smart Mining Engineering will develop a key role in the near future by providing new techniques and methods for sustainable exploration and mining of such raw materials – non-invasive exploration techniques, automation, digital mining and smart mining technologies- which reduce energy consumption and minimize technological and environmental risks.

The deadline to apply for the following two Master programmes is 31st January 2020:

AMRD, International Master of Science in Advanced Mineral Resources Development – joint programme between Técnico Lisboa (Universidade de Lisboa), Montanuniversität Leoben (Austria) and Technische Universität Bergakademie Freiberg (Germany).
Applications

IMME, International Master in Mining Engineering – joint programme with China University of Mining and Technology, in Beijing (China).
Applications.
