From November 10th to 13th, 2025, Lisbon will once again host the Web Summit, one of the largest global technology and innovation events. Instituto Superior Técnico, with the support of Fundação Santander, a member of the Técnico Partner Network, will have its own stand at the summit and is looking for students, professors, researchers, students’ organisations, and start-ups founded by Técnico alumni to represent the School.
By joining the Técnico team, community members will have the opportunity to engage with the dynamics of Web Summit, support institutional representation, and showcase the work developed at the School to an international audience. Being part of the Técnico team will allow you to go behind the scenes of one of the world’s largest events, connect with international leaders, and represent the School on a global stage.
How to participate:
- Students – Applications are open until 15 September. Those selected will join the technical team, representing Técnico and supporting the activities at the stand. Applications.
- Professors and Researchers – Applications are open until 15 September. Those selected will support Técnico’s institutional presence and strengthen connections with international partners. Join the team.
- Students’ Organisations – Applications are open until 15 September. Each organisation will showcase a prototype developed at Técnico in a dedicated space at the stand (1 prototype/day). Register a prototype.
- Startups and Spin-offs founded by Técnico alumni – Applications are open until 14 September. Eligible projects will have free access to the ALPHA programme at Web Summit. Participate with a startup.
