Applications for Unite! Widening Matchmaking are open until 12 March. This initiative aims at researchers and professors interested in joining international teams and preparing solid proposals within the Horizon Europe programme.
This initiative will take place in two complementary moments:
- 19 March – Online matchmaking session, designed to present new project ideas, identify synergies, and facilitate initial contacts between European partners;
- 12 to 13 May – In-person session integrated into the Unite! Research School (URS), taking place at Politecnico di Torino (PoliTO), Italy.
This event will focus on various strategic areas, including research and innovation in health, biotech and life sciences; solutions for urban sustainability and efficient resource management; the development of innovative materials and the circular economy; and digital technologies, artificial intelligence and autonomous technologies.
The initiative is part of the Unite! European University Alliance, of which Instituto Superior Técnico, Universidade de Lisboa, is a member. It aims to promote the involvement of institutions from countries with lower participation in European funding programmes, creating opportunities for collaboration and strengthening the competitiveness of submitted applications.
Applications are now open on the event’s official platform.
