«The Centre for Management Studies of Instituto Superior Técnico (CEGIST) is pleased to announce the seminar “Individual Sensing and Modelling of Activity, Mobility and Emotional Patterns”, by Carlos Azevedo (Technical University of Denmark), as part of CEGIST’s seminar series.
Emotions are an outcome of experiences, including travel, and they play a crucial role in decision-making, extending beyond classical rational choice theory. However, integrating emotions into travel behaviour models is challenging due to their latent nature and the complexity of assessing their causes and impacts on decision-making.
This seminar discusses recent efforts in sensing, classical modelling and machine learning to illuminate these connections within the urban mobility context.
CEGIST seminars are free to attend and open to the public.»
