«The Técnico Library will hold a webinar, on 18th October 2023, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., via Zoom platform, on “Academic ethics: an approach for 1st cycle students”.
This training session has the following objectives:
- To problematise the concept of academic fraud;
- To problematise the concept of ethics in the processes of learning and acquiring knowledge;
- Understand the relationship between the concepts of copyright and plagiarism;
- Identify some factors that inhibit academic fraud;
- Present the University of Lisbon’s Code of Conduct;
- Raise awareness of the importance of ethical behaviour in decision-making.
Although this event is primarily addressed to 1st cycle students, participation is open to anyone interested. The webinar will be held in Portuguese.
Participation is free of charge but registration is required. The Zoom meeting ID will be sent by email to registered participants.»
