Marta Almeida, researcher at C2TN – Centre for Nuclear Sciences and Technologies is leading two new European projects, worth €1.4m each.
ClimACT is the name of the project approved within Interreg Sudoe programme, which promotes the transition to a low carbon economy in schools. The project will be implemented in 35 pilot schools in Portugal, Spain, France and Gibraltar and it’s partly funded by the European Regional Development Fund – FEDER.
The second project, LIFE Index-Air, is supported by EU Life and aims to develop a decision support tool to protect the population against the exposure to airborne particles.
