Applications for the 14th edition of Primus Inter Pares Award are open until 24th February 2017. This is an initiative of Banco Santander Totta and newspaper Expresso that aims to contribute to the development of a culture of rigour, professionalism and excellence in business management and to distinguish the three finalists of master courses in Business Management, Economics or Engineering.
The award given to the first three winners consist of an MBA, which includes the payment of tuition and enrolment fees, in national and international prestigious business schools. In the last years, three former students of Civil Engineering, Aerospace Engineering and Materials Engineering from Técnico won this award.
The Primus Inter Pares Award, unlike others, has a selection process that includes not only students’ academic results, but also other skills that are increasingly valued by knowledge society, such as leadership, initiative and teamwork. The five finalists will have a personal interview with the jury, composed of Francisco Pinto Balsemão, president of Impresa Group, António Vieira Monteiro, President of the Executive Committee of Banco Santander Totta, António Vitorino, jurist, Estela Barbot, businesswoman and Raquel Seabra, winner of the second edition.
