Nineteen new professors and researchers from different areas of engineering and science will join Instituto Superior Técnico, proving that Técnico continues to pursue excellence and innovation.

As mentioned by the president of Técnico, professor Arlindo Oliveira, “Técnico is strongly committed to renew its faculty and continue to do so through increasingly competitive recruitment”. The professors and researchers who have now joined Técnico have a remarkable experience, both at national and international level, in the most diverse areas and will contribute to make Técnico an increasingly global school”, he adds.

These new admissions will reinforce teaching and research at the Department of Nuclear Sciences and Engineering (DECN), Department of Mechanical Engineering (DEM), Department of Computer Science and Engineering (DEI), Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (DEEC), Department of Chemical Engineering (DEQ), Department of Bioengineering (DBE), Department of Mathematics (DM) and Department of Physics (DF).
