The international mobility students and the 2nd cycle students started to arrive at Técnico this Monday, September 12.
The students arriving from outside Europe were welcomed during the morning. The international mobility students and 2nd cycle students were welcomed during the afternoon.
In the early afternoon the students were welcomed by the Mobility and International Cooperation Office (NMCI) and watched a short film about the campus life and the city of Lisbon. During the campus visit, the students met their mentors who gave them important information about their academic life at Técnico and about Lisbon. One of the reasons that led Miquitte Bosland, a Dutch student, to study Mechanical Engineering at Técnico was, precisely, the city of Lisbon, “the course that better suited her”, and “the ULisboa’s position in several rankings”.
The new students can enrol in Técnico Orientation Week, organised by the Student Support Unit (NAPE) and NMCI.
The 2nd cycle students visited the campus and met their mentors, and visited the exhibition stands of Técnico student groups.
