The Técnico library of will organise a training session on the evaluation criteria of scientific information sources, addressed to 1st, 2nd and 3rd cycle students, on November 13th, from 10:00 to 11:30.
This training session aims:
– to discuss the quality of information content available on the Internet;
– to explore the concept of scientific publication and its editorial dynamics;
– to identify sources of scientific information (reference and full text databases, scientific repositories and aggregator systems)
– to know some methods of selecting scientific information.
The training session will be held in Portuguese.
Attendance is free but requires prior registration.
Venue: Mathematics building, floor -1, white room (iStartLab).
